Our story

A neighborhood
taqueria you can
come home to.

Taqueria Altamirano has been a quiet part of the Mount Houston Road community for years. We don't do anything fancy — we make the kind of tacos your abuela would approve of, with tortillas rolled by hand and meats seasoned the way they've always been.

Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or bringing the family for dinner, we treat every guest like someone we know. That's just how we were raised.
